Violeta Petrov est une artiste née en Bulgarie, sa double culture Franco-Bulgare est exploitée comme une richesse.

Elle fait ses études en France et après l'obtention d'un DEUG d'arts plastiques et d'une Licence d'arts appliqués obtenue à la Sorbonne Paris 1, elle exerce le métier de professeur d'arts appliqués et d'arts plastiques.

Le processus créatif est libre d'expression, mélangeant l'expressionnisme, le surréalisme, le Pop art et la nouvelle figuration. La pulsion créative est déclenchée par l'imaginaire ou par un constat réactionnel. Sa prédilection pour la peinture et le réalisme lui permet d'exprimer une vision engagée et singulière de la société. Les œuvres nous plongent dans un monde poétique et surréaliste dans lequel rien n'est impossible.

L'artiste réalise des œuvres sur commande. La taille de l'œuvre peut être de petit format (40cm x 40cm) jusqu'au format XXL (2200cm x 2000cm).
